*NEW* Landed Luiton LT-310SDR Multimode

About 16-18 days after the initial order the Luiton LT-310SDR arrived via last mile delivery from DPD. No paperwork and no customs payment it landed on the doorstep

Like everyone has said it’s crazy small. Around the same size as the Albrecht 6110 which we know was super small when it was released.

The radio comes with no serial number, no branding and no names on the radio or the microphone. The box is plain cardboard and mine didn’t come with any manual or papers which is fine as have the manual on the PC

And I’ve added the manual for you above.

German below with thanks to Andreas & Gerd

Above you have a look at the underside and the power lead comes two piece and is very thin, it’s enough but for me would be a little more robust if a little thicker.

It has the bands 10, CB, BR, HF and works on blocks of 40 channels and in my case it seems to start at 25.6 upwards. Due to bad weather the tests will continue tomorrow or Wednesday. But it’s landed, it’s super small and beyond compact.

There is some issue with the AI NRC and transmit and also the volume when set at the lowest level is a little too loud. I guess we need to remember this radio is most likely a sample more than general release and needs to be treated like this. Needs some work in the firmware area and so I guess like with some other radios from the same factory keep on testing them.

  1. I would be interested to hear what happened to your LT-310SDR. What were the symptoms of the failure? Thank you.

  2. Glad to hear you got yours in your hands. It’s a great little radio. Yes, a few bugs. I hope yours lasts longer than mine.
