Sat Online in Switzerland have announced they can update the Midland 8001 Pro to the new version V20 firmware. I’d love to have the new firmware on my radio but guess it’s a pipe dream as cannot send to Switzerland. Great news for people that this new firmware is available. I will say the Aquario radios in Brazil also had V20 firmware arrive recently.

i have a Moonraker Titan Mk II and would like to see an updated firmware for that as well. As a cautionary note, I did use the Midland 8001Pro 1.07 tuning software on the Titan Mk II and it caused an issue with the FM transmit audio. The radio resets the deviation to 0 on restart of radio. Likely a glitch in the firmware, as I can make adjustments to deviation in the software and the radio will TX properly, but after a power cycle, no FM TX audio.
