My sincere thanks to the kindness of Richard M5GTI who’s found I think one of the first customers of the new Anytone AT-5100. There is a VERY long story around the history of this radio and I’ll not bore you all with it but I will say that all the radios you’ve seen before which looks like it are not the original versions of the radio. Qixiang designed this radio many years ago and let’s say it vanished from there building with someone and was made somewhere else and as so they didn’t go on with the project. But due to some let’s say oddness with the clones and inability to loose all the errors they made there own radio which would have been the original.

Seems to show the PTT button so maybe like the one that is here this radio comes with Bluetooth. And remember you’ll need a dedicated Qixiang manufactured Bluetooth microphone if you want to use this feature

What is sure is that it will not need 20 versions of firmware to be a good radio. Even from sample this radio has had some fantastic reports and comments on how it sounds. Congratulations Moonraker for taking the real deal version of this radio and long may it sell.
