To those people who’ve wrote me about the behaviour of the previous version of this radio I agree with you still 100% My radio is in the same spot as yours. My emails are ignored (same as they are at Albrecht and also now Midland 🫣) Seems people lost the way to communicate. Happens in CB, you help someone and they kick you in your own ass afterwards.

I asked for the PC software as have a data cable and not anyone replied. I was absolutely ignored. I asked for any update file to make a disabled radio better and it was ignored also. SO I agree with your words absolutely and as a Joe Bloggs user I have the same experience as you have.

SO we share the same experience, we share the same pain and we are all I suppose CRT Guinea Pigs or CRT survivors

If you buy an Anytone AT-5289 II it comes with supported updates snd in most cases comes with a data cable but you’ll need to ask the dealer to confirm it.

In meantime return the radio as not fit for sale, send it to CRT and ask them fix this mess, drive over it in an 18 wheeler or use it as a door stop
