As I am again it would appear on the persona non grata list at Albrecht and Midland then I’ll write here what they ignored to respond to. And yes before we go anywhere I do understand the AE-5900 is a multi-norm legal CB radio and not a Yaesu, a Kenwood or Icom

Channel Step

If you are a ham or an export mode CB person and use channel mode on the AE-5900 it goes up in channel steps of 10khz. I’ve asked them to make a small tweak in firmware and allow it in channel mode to go for example 28.315 then 6,7,8,9,0 and 4,3,2,1 and 0 thus making it easier to use and do not need VFO mode.

Clarifier

As the clarifier function in extended mode is an ass and almost useless it would make sense in any further update to make a small change to the code.

Span

Like an old Lincoln or a new Lincoln has a span feature or call it whatever you like as others have this feature. Some like CRT just turn the clarifier left and right and drops down for example.

Above shows what I was meaning. It’s not difficult unless you want it to be. This radio arrived and left to its owner with VHF programmed etc now and no chance of another one 😩

Initial Release

The firmware on this radio is V1.0 on all accounts and not the new firmware unique to Albrecht or even a new Anytone / Radioddity one. On the one that was here the production date was 2025-06-12 so if real over a year old before it landed here on 2026-07-28

So this is what was asked for, emails ignored and never a comment received. But I know the AE-5900 is a legal multi-norm radio before my stalker tells me off about rules and regulations.

And for the Brits I did ask for UK in export mode but separately found out that the firmware DNA structure wouldn’t allow it.
