A time in some ways to blow our own trumpet as it were. This blog began its life in a Costa Coffee in Budapest Hungary 🇭🇺 when the domain name was registered and then it lay dormant as due to time and I was still writing for magazines and this had more preference than the pages here. Then sometime later the first article was written on a limited free tariff on an iPad with a 4G connection. Looking around for news, asking companies if they could share something to add here. To make a long boring story short now we stand at over 10,000,000 views and with this the visitors are in excess of 2,100,000 which is superbly humbling for a small blog, a small micro part of the internet. Every year in excess of 270 countries and from places unimaginable and for coming to spend time here I thank you so much.

The blog has healed rifts, forged new friendships from all corners of the world. I am lucky to have regular friends who send me news, views, information all who share the same passion for making the radio world’s news easy for everyone to see. I’m humbled by the amount of companies in Europe, China, USA and all places in between whose kindness is reflected here on the blog with news, information, sometimes secret factory news that needs to keep quiet, modifications shared under anonymity and everything that makes this space place something interesting.

Honest Bit! The blog has gained so much space, takes up a lot of room and costs. How long now it will last now that’s another matter. I always say maybe one more year and I’ll say it again now as it is towards the end of the year. Maybe one more! Soon it’s renewal time and we will have a look and see.

In the meantime many thanks for looking at the blog, sending emails to the blog now over 32,700 received and replies sent in the duration of its life here. It’s still ran exclusively off an iPad or iPhone and now with Starlink internet or 5G.
