Another weekend and another nice contact on FM with the President Lincoln II. Please no trolls about the speaker, the radio not on bracket and such. Does not help or change the world.

If I had a hope for the future of the Lincoln, let us call it evolution of the radio. It would be:

Front End Over load sorted
S-Meter Lambada resolved
A little more audio on FM
Channel Change (changed)

Qixiang killed many gremlins in 5555 after V5. If we look at the history the CRE8900 / Alinco DR135DX are still stuck down in the V3 and V3.1 and share some issues with the LI2. What I know from using all these radios is that the Lincoln II is the best that Qxiang has at the moment. It is sure the best work from them,, but THEY NEED TO TAKE NOTICE AND NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILTY and wise up. If you make shit people leave, make something decent more people will come. I think new firmware, a little more care, a lot more tests, a little more time in real world use and this radio could be better. It is now good, but needs to raise the bar more to obtain better feedback from people who email, text, write messages to me via you tube and blog.
Myself, I continue to be hopeful and that’s why the radio is still on the desk and still being used….
