The world of CB Radio is again in mourning after the death of Carl Korn who was the founder and chairman of Cobra Electronics Corporation. The company Cobra started in the garage of Carl Korn where it was a television repair service and now sells in more than 75 countries worldwide.

It was Carl who approached Uniden who together were responsible for bringing gems like the Cobra 148GTLDX, Cobra 2000 GTLDX which started many people along the road on the hobby that is CB Radio. Not just CB but a multitude of other related materials which made the company Cobra known for there products.

R.I.P Mr Cobra and thanks from the world of CB Radio for bringing many of us into the hobby with the excellently sourced Uniden produced radios.
