A radio from way back. A radio that was designed, manufactured originally by Uniden and then after market was handled by the genius that was John Nugent (G1LFY) of East London. He was light years ahead of his time, when you think how radios have developed and evolved in the 20-30 years since these MK V were a glint in his minds eye.

You name it, this radio was ahead when it came to what John could add to it. Less than 300 were modified and there were no adverts about it, if you knew John then maybe you would get your radio modified.
Mine used rarely, often sits down on 26425 USB to hear friends and or on 26430 to hear the Canadian Outlaws on the air.
