Well what a difference a few days can make in the right hands. Ralf was the owner like many of us of a V1 Lincoln II that had a few issues shall we say and now since the radio has had some pixie spray on it in France it has returned and now what a difference. We all know about the channel change and the volume level on 2 being very loud it is well documented and talked around in circles in forums. The oh so wise who never invested in the radio bragging about there smartness and the owners of the V2 now join a small band of people who have a radio that will work excellently as prepared by the people who will know best what to do, how to do, and test all is fine and well.
IMPORTANT to remember is only a limited amount have been repaired and many are happy with the radio from the box and never spoken anywhere against it. So just a few are in need of the modifications.
Yes what next? I will be branded once more as protecting President and all the same B.S that has seen others shunned like in Amish life but I think of it this way. Human nature seems now to make hassles, moan, bitch and complain when you do not own the thing that is being moaned about. Is this jealousy of not spending cash you don’t have or is indeed people trying simply to discredit the work that has been done? So next time someone is spamming forums about not buying something as they are “smart” and although “cash is sat in my pocket just for a radio” just think there words can be jealousy you have something they don’t or they have been sent to discredit an item too.
Ask other users but with the v2 it is 2014 and how many other companies repair, modify, update, ship free of charge overnight to customers there radios back, have a dedicated person who will help you, send you DHL overnight a label for the radio to be collected. Sure it was an error maybe to release it as it was but by hell they fixed it fast… Not anyone else would honour the warranty as much.
Plus V2. Checked in France, Modified in France, Updated in France, Prepared in France is a winner. Works Super. But again those who are happy with radios or other things often do not post on forums, only the bitter, twisted trolls sit and whine all day about there smartness of avoiding something they want but don’t want to admit they want.
