A video am happy to show from a location I used a lot in the late 80s sat near the trees with a Nato 2000 and a Commant 5/8 Electronica Special back in the times when you could speak with Robbie in the Lighthouse on the channel islands. Man that was 30 years ago but always worked well from there. If not there then sit near the air strip at Compton Abbas. Great take off points.

the good spots are very scarce and I still use my old spot 2040ft asl and my second spot is 2900ftasl and had lots of very good contacts on 4w only but its not like that now Simon.
