As we have seen this year heading to the hills whether it is for PMR 446, CB Radio, Amateur radio or simply for exercise and make some great contacts at the same time then it is something to be applauded. The same was recently when Expedice Boruka headed to the hills between Usti Nad Labem and Ceske Lipa in the Czech Republic. Locator JO70DP for those who want to check it out.
Czech Republic is really a hot spot for heading out onto the hills. They have a CB League and have done so for many years and indeed there are many that do a lot of work to promote the hobby.

Above is a link to see the story and also more of the photographs from the time spent out. CB is social, a get together for a chat, few beers, some meat and pickles and the social side is equal to the talking on the air. Check the site http://www.cbdx.cz as this is where the league is published, contacts named and future events are posted. Maybe you will hear some of these on the air now with the new regulations and also SSB being legal in Czech Republic too..
