External s-meter socket on Lincoln II? A Question

This is for the techies out there that do not trust the s meter lights on the Lincoln II (also occurs with other Qixiang stuff) Anders BĀ from Sweden wrote to the blog and asks has anyone fitted an external s-meter socket? And if yes can they share the information how it was and how well does it work.

I know it has been done, I know Kucha Hans does this for the Lincoln II and other radios from the same factory.

Any ideas write in the comments and I will make sure that Anders receives the answers and or photos if you have performed this modification
