Happy 40th CB Birthday Germany

July 1st 2015 was a very significant day for CB Radio In Germany. It was the 40th birthday of the 27MHz band. It was the 1st July 1975 that the Federal Ministry of Post and Telecommunications allowed 12 channels on 27MHz for the use of voice communications.Ā  Monthly fee of 15DM got you 500mw transmit power and useĀ of Ā 12 channels

And since then it has gone from strength to strength and has become one of the world leaders in the implementation of new standards, new equipment and till today drives the hobby forwards.
