Something interesting from the WordPress site of CB lovers. “Stryker Radio Blog” Albrecht, Uniden, President amongst others named and appears to have been added to the banned importation list. If true Stryker too would be added as Qixiang made CB’s in 10m guise too.
This seems to be the blog on behalf of “Stryker Radios”
All I’ll say is resistor, jumpers.
Don’t throw stones on others.
Plus the recent Uniden radios are locked tight and don’t do anything more than usual. People complained there was nothing hidden. Same as President, they will comply 100% with FCC rules in there new USA business and I expect nothing more than legality there in these radios too. President was in 1990’s on the list. Now a whole different player! Regulations, Procedure and conformity.

And remember any radio can get more power. The cost for makers are so low it’s hard not to want more. Stryker for example with 955HPC great chassis but poor controls, shit receive in first version, buggy software, lots of noises and processor sounds. Better would be make it special, develop better receive, more time spent and cash spent.
Why have 90w power SSB if you cannot hear th other person as sensitivity and selectivity are poor?
No test pieces of the new version so cannot address if they are good or bad. All I know is that the versions that were sent to Avera the first series were all scratched and dog eared.
