Now available is the updated model of this popular Baofeng radio that allows you three power levels for transmit. The radio has the 6.25khz step for the PMR men and of course being a Baofeng it will work well with the popular CHIRP software. I’ve been asked where you can buy this radio if you do not use eBay and below we will post a link to resolve those issues

   
 
The power levels are 1, 4 and 8w. So add a better antenna than the stock antenna and sure the radio has the power to make some good contacts.
