Klaus the HF-Doktor has released a video to show the noise reduction modification he has done on his Grant II. Initially sent to me via a comment. As we know a new official release comes during March or April. I’ve already read some very scathing comments about this. But fact is not everyone had the noise. And to modify for the minority and not majority is as expensive business. 

  
What the Wizard Says: We’ve got to wait and see. Like in life those with troubles comment and all those who are happy are quiet. I’ve been very loud as thought the initial radios were not great as were noisy. But the reality is that Tim in Germany had a Grant II and noise was almost zero. He sent it to me and was S8 noise compared to his S0/1 noise.
