Thanks Diddi in Rockford IL for sending me the details of an amplifier that will change your Baofeng handie into a base radio for $88. I’ve not seen this before but I guess why not? Seems a logical idea since before we had the “black box amplifier” from Israel that worked on these radios.

this could be handy as a pmr base as there is one for 400-480mhz looks good

I think outside of Ham band it’s disabled the amp. But maybe there is a way to unlock it
