I’d asked a couple of times at Palomar about the new Magnum1 but like with many other places the emails are ignored and confined to the user question dustbin. Lester’s Custom Truck shop’s added a video that indeed does show side by side the differences which includes components change and possible firmware changes based still on the old Maxlog 8800 board. Best guess the USA expert engineers have used there skills to make it a better radio this time around. Price of around $340 ~ $399 I’ve found online at various dealers.
