Recently the Midland Dual Mike received a microphone based update and people have asked what’s new and what was changed. Thanks to CTE / Midland Europe who’ve very kindly emailed me and let me know some of the changes on the microphone from version V1.0.0 to the new version V1.0.5

What’s Changed:

Improved Audio level with the application on both microphone and application

Improved AGC on the transmission with the application

Level of speech is regulated on the distance from the microphone. So the further from the microphone the gain of the microphone will change

Improved AGC with Receive on the app

Tuned the level of battery with voice announcement

DSP faster in processing of the voice
