Something I’ve no real idea about! Thanks to Rob in the Netherlands for sending me details of the 43 MHz band used in Italy. I’ve found out a little of the usage and have added the band plan of the pre-programmed 24 channels below. Intek appear to even have a hand held for sale for this band also! Interesting radio information indeed.

I see no reason why the antenna is a challenge as the size is much smaller against that on 27MHz.

Getting a radio is easy just order them from an Italian webshop.
There are people active in various European countries with these radio’s.
I know guys in The Netherlands, UK, Germany, Scandinavia who are active there.
