*New* Ranger RCI-2950DX6

News for Ranger lovers wig the release of the 2950DX6. This is the latest in the series of the radio with 10-12m on board, a new display and also an updated output stage putting the power at 60 watts PEP on SSB with a new “Ranger RT-1” final being used to power the radio. Expect a price of around $400 plus shipping, import duties and taxes into Europe.

    many Thanks for your info about the new Ranger DX6,
    I bought an RCI-2950DX/CD from Jabber Products one week before Brexit, because importing into the EU without a CE mark is difficult.
    I wonder now may this was a mistake, do they only changed the backend for more transmission power ?
    Maybe a narrower filter has been retrofitted for better reception, or maybe there is now a potentiometer for frequency swing in FM.
    I would be grateful for any additional information, because at Ranger-USA nobody has ever answered emails, the customer service of Ranger unfortunately still smells like 1900th.
