It was announced a little while ago but now if you are the owner of an AE-6290 it’s time to contact your dealer about updating to the latest firmware. The update will allow direct access to repeater mode with a long press of the VOX button. It’s best to make contact with your dealer as some people messaged me you pay return postage, some say you pay postage and update! So please ask your dealer and they’ll inform you of there upgrade process.
