Back Again! Ranger RHF-618

Thanks so much to Rob in the Netherlands for this news. It appears that Ranger have again released the base station which is based around the RCI-2950 radio. Dual band 12-10m and in the old days expandable via the e-key. Let’s hope they made a lot of updates as the version I had was an awful radio. Radio weighs in at around $570 and guess much more in Europe if it makes its way across the channel. I’d actually thought this was back again in 2021 so maybe it’s back again now to spend sometime on sale? And will vanish again.

  1. FM mode was not geared for EU and UK markets originally.
No super narrow FM option 8K0 F3E,was based on 20/25 16K0 USA specs
FM transmit lacked audio clipping for punch.
    No UK channels options
    No Ctcss built in

Needs some extra work for EU/UK uses
    Maybe this has been done?
