Sunday 17/07/2022, Very rare hot weather was the order of the day…. We are doing the same this week by curtailing the time we are on air, for our health’s sake….. We managed over 60 in the log some nice distant stations furthest being Reunion Islands in the Indian Ocean….
Not taking anything away from the domestic front, we had many contacts from the Southwest into Somerset, Devon and Cornwall and also managed to make contact with Andy 26DR2080, from the Clees up to Oldham, then to top it all Micah, calling from Anglesey using 163DR4207….. Great copies folks….well done indeed….
Thanks need to go out to Ian 26DR247, he has been holding the fort when much has over-run us from the Midlands….
Keep the faith my friends, our ears are open and we know how to listen…. GAPS ARE LEFT FOR MOBILES, PORTABLES, QRP STATIONS AND THOSE FURTHER AFIELD…..Also those listening through SDR, of which we know are delayed.
