*Updated* Harrison II Spec

My thanks to Wim whose wrote to me over the weekend about the Harrison II. Below I’ve added the “updated” specification from him. He’s compared the Sat shop in Switzerland 🇨🇭 and President own page. Thanks to Wim! Your one eagled eyed guy. Kind of you to write. Rob in the U.K. will be delighted it comes with CTCSS/DCS but maybe no split.

  2. Looking good, hopefully same ctcss structure as Randy 3 so can do split ctcss/DCS tones?
Fingers crossed ,why some ask VoIP Gateways and Repeaters use where split tx is not allowed in some markets areas.

Channel repeater shift +/-offset,would be very handy addition too for certain markets where allowed.

    S-NFM 8K0 F3E USA/EU specs

I would be shocked if President added a special mode for UK 27/81band by putting a function on Mode switch to switch FM tx deviation in either 2.00khz max (8ko F3E) or 2.5khz (11k0 F3E) in UK band only.
Why ?it would elevate old CB specs MPT1320 Vs new CB ETSI specs equipment with operationally older CB radios the “you sound a bit quiet to me”issue in UK,a kinda backwards compatible mode.
It would be a nice operational feature and stop some going into the service mode and playing.
As all new CB use “soft pots now”it’s just a firmware tweek to allow
    Dev-1:1.90khz (EU/UK EN STD)
    Dev-2:2.20khz (UK MPT1320)

    In UK band mode only!!!
Mode switch AM FM(EU-Dev1) EU Band,UK band FM1(tx Dev 1),FM2(tx Dev 2) so can do either.
So if end user is struggling to older CB user ,switch mode to higher Dev2,fixed!!
    End user happy 🐻
    Bear.
    Just an idea!!

You always got service mode by dealer to tweek things for UK uses.

But all will be revealed I guess at some point, fab stuff cannot wait to see👍
