It is a coaxial dipole, so a 1/2 lambda.
It works well, I did one for 28 MHZ and one for 14 MHZ.
… which is of course true for CB-frequencies 26.965 – 27.405 MHz, only (sorry, forgot to mention!).
In my experience, for a T2LT antenna the below dimensions are ideal in order to obtain a SWR value of 1.3 or even better:
– upper radiator: L = 270 cm
– lower radiator: L = 260 cm
– air coil: 5 turns, D = 11 cm
