President McKinley is compatible with the Digimike and UP / DN works completely. Maybe simply a website mistake. Having checked with GPE they’ve confirmed it works and I’ve used today my McKinley and indeed it works.

Why did they not include USA or EU McKinley on the list?
Guess a mistake as used today on EU McKinley and UP & DN works. Compatible no issues

I can confirm the microphone works on the McKinley and with UP and DN working. 100% compatible

does the NRC control the reception or is it responsible for the transmission, i.e. to reduce the ambient noise during speech? I have not understood that yet.
It’s a microphone so transmit. For RX you need Radio with dedicated NRC function. Download manual all info inside.
NRC 1 to 2 best AM/FM
For me NRC1 on SSB best
