So here we have a small look for Helmut (Frequenzwaschl) on the left the PNI Escort HP82 Battery which has its connecting tooth that fits on the inside of radio on the bottom and on the right is the President Randy III battery which has its tooth on the top! So connection different and one doesn’t fit into the other. So on the one radio the like locking tooth to the radio is on the top and on the other it’s on the bottom.

Plain English. PNI has plus on left if I remember well and the R3 also identical but it’s fittings connection is differently mounted.
