    This base has the same circuits as the RCI-2950CD, with some modifications including the addition of the final transistors RT-1.

    It produces a power of 100W PEP in SSB, on this side we are good, but there are already critics because it is not stable in SSB +/-200Hz drift.

    The price with customs taxes, do not make a valid deal.
    It is better to buy even a second hand HF radio.

    Or if you do not want to put too much money a good SS6900V or SS7900V will be much better in any point and you can add the STRYKER SR-955HP V2 which has the same current circuit base.

    Even with a vintage look, RANGER must evolve to new circuit architectures like Anytone and CRT did.
    I am sure that with these developments they would have market share to recover.

    For me these old school boards with internals adjustements are sh… and obsolete.
