2024 just two days in and naysayers, fools and those of lesser brain capacity are making up lies and mistruth about the President George FCC. To most this radio is a video on YouTube or words on blogs, forums and not owned, touched or transmitted on. And so before I need answer more emails then let’s look at the facts and naysayers or those who deny reality below is the truth, the whole truth.

First Off: It is not in anyway, shape, form a Uniden produced radio. It’s a President produced radio from a facility they have in China. That’s why it says “Made In PRC” not “Made In Vietnam” which is usual for Uniden. Next may seen rude or confrontational as I know the Uniden boss but I don’t think Uniden of today could make this radio. BUT I await to see any new Uniden like this.

Uniden 980 SSB Here is where some are confused. Front looks the same it’s popular and has become a classic in its appearance but under the skin the 980 has Uniden on the board and George FCC has President! They are not tricking you as it’s not Uniden produced. And most likely of all is President owned the tooling of the radio (Grant II) and can use and modify it** (My guess only they own tooling) Add to this recent Uniden radios are same as older ones with added FM. No cutting state of the art radio so far.

NRC Uniden don’t have it so far

The George FCC and George II EU are European engineered and not Uniden Japan or Vietnam as it’s not Uniden produced. I’ve said it so many times it’s EU drawn, designed, engineered, tested and all things that makes a radio a living entity. The old previous George was indeed Uniden produced and manufacture and was a classic. That’s why a successor took 35 years to come. Hard to replace and even harder to produce and get ideas for.

I’m not trying to get people to suck eggs and honestly don’t care if you believe my words or not in reality. I know the facility they use, I know absolutely beyond any shadow or millimetre of doubt this radio isn’t Uniden! And most of all most dealers in USA 🇺🇸 Canada 🇨🇦 know and it’s not a conspiracy to trick you when they say it’s not Uniden it’s because it’s not a Uniden it’s a President, made in a President facility and designed in Balaruc France by guess who? President.. Not Uniden
