Story Of Last DR DX Group Net

Sunday 4th FEB, we were kept busy from start to finish last Sunday many callers from mainland Europe and a few from those Scandanavian countries too….

Sweden , our friend that calls from 1000km Nth of Stockholm, which is the capital city, we struggled to share all relevant information from him but he was gratefully recieved all the same….
Timo 56TR277, again made himself known, he is making great leeways into our log and I know at least 200 people have had a QSO with him through the DRDX Group Net…. Always shows great patience and understanding and allows everyone the chance to make that elusive contact…. Thanks again Timo…..

Nick 56LW66/m,calling from Helsinki was calling as a mobile and caught up in a snow blizzard as we spoke to him… Kimmo 56KP080 too made himself known and allowed those in the UK a chance to make those wonderful contacts and everyone took their turn and had a short QSO as and when conditions allowed…. There was a little QSB and QRN at times…

We also heard MALTA Rob 93WM105,out there too, along with Saimon from Greece… Highlight of the day had to be our friend calling from Taiwan Thomas 155DR005, responding to Jay 26DR622.. Thanks Jay for your help….

We often had triangular QSO’s ( One person called, one person heard that 3rd party calling back to the caller) all info was shared to each other that way…

Tony 26DR034/p got word out for uson the DX CLUSTERS….. Thanks my friend for all the time and effort placed into getting word out and making it that little bit easier to make those contacts….

Top contact this way had to be 26CT2023 Rob , calling QRP from Billinge Hill a good 120 miles Nth in Lancashire down to the midlands. No small fete , hats off to you sir for your time and efforts.
As usual, ALL GROUPS, ALL STATIONS, ALL NATIONS , are welcome to call into this net….
Thanks for looking, de 26DR017 David,
