Sunday 12th May what a wonderful day of radio, we managed to get a few DXCC’s logged and also managed what were rare stations on the domestic front too,
Ken 26DR988, and to Andy 26DR2080, both heard by myself on the Romsley Hill 900ft ASL, into my mobile set-up I was using my sirio 4000 Antenna on a triple magmount.

And to match signals from the North came 26AT115 Ian, and 26DR774 Nick, also NEWPORT 163 Div Sth Wales, although conditions were far from brilliant at the time.

As usual ALL GROUPS, ALL STATIONS, ALL NATIONS are welcome to call into this net…. Gaps will be left for MOBILES, PORTABLES, QRP callers, sdr rxers if they have access to a radio.

As if to prove the point, again we heard from Scott 26SC027 calling from Melton Mowbray, using no more than 5W, bearing in mind the conditions and the contour of the country in that area, it is a great achievement to make their signal heard in Birmingham.

If you have been trying and we are still struggling to hear you , then please keep the faith it can be done…. Height has been a factor recently due to health conditions and having plenty going on in my private life….
