Well Sunday last (19/05/2024) was a wonderful day that gave us a little of everything, Noise levels were again low and allowed the Countries we have not heard for several weeks to make themselves known to us again….
Due to health concerns most of our nets are hosted whilst mobile, this allows for a fast safe get-away if needs be and saves time but it is a trade-off when it comes to gaining as much signal strength as possible…. Sorry to those at the extremities of our reduced listening ability as it does make it difficult for us to discern the signals at the distance and terrain we are sitting on. Usually reduced height and closer to RF noise levels which at the moment are a necessity.

Times, locations, frequencies will be announced , we are celebrating 9 years of, the DRDX Group and Team, the net has also done 9 full years on the given frequency above. there will be several frequencies , Donations will be gratefully recieved and will go towards the Air Ambulance. (PLEASE ASK FOR DETAILS TO MAKE A DONATION of funds, )
As usual ALL GROUPS, ALL STATIONS, ALL NATIONS are welcome to call into this net, GAPS will be left for mobiles, portables, QRP callers and SDR rxes ,with access to a radio.
Numbers are well into the 40’s so please give us a call and if you have the time remain with us ,this is usually when those Mainland European Stations make themselves known We had dozens of Germans several from Scandanavia. Italy, France, as well as Canary Isles, Spain getting a look in , although times were often limited and disappeared as fast as they showed.
Division Numbers, 01,13, 14, 21, 26, 30, 34, 47, 56, 163, there were others but due to the way the skip levels have been they were far from easy to hear.
