Dealer’s Say Jopix CB-80 Doesn’t Have CTCSS / DCS

And if you still don’t believe it has CTCSS and DCS use the software “Commander” and it sits there waiting for your import . And the menu has it and it works. Bad description possibly from Pihernz and omitted from manual but it has it! Again am doubted…

Same was with the Washington so many dealers got there hand bags knotted that a “simple person” knew stuff and they didn’t. Get over it! Dealers don’t know everything and sometimes they can be wrong it’s a fact of life but I told it had it and still doubted “as the dealer said”

120 days -/+ blog leaves and you can have peace and believe all dealers tell you as a superior race they are….

    Learn your products your selling🙄to customers.
    New features are a selling point, especially CB radio ctcss.
    We barked on about it quite a while now.

    Yes I’ve tested Randy 3,Jopix GS-60 to Washington 2, Washington 2 to Washington 2 pure bliss “noise free”squelch at last on FM mode finally,big + point.
    It is a selling point now on cb and should be one a standard feature on all CB radios in my books.
    Once you go ctcss you won’t look back.

    On note agree I searched everywhere to find out if the new Jopix cb-80 does have it,so poorly advertised,I’m just glad it’s is there.

    Now go out and start trying FM+ctcss CB (Inc split ctcss use for relay mode where allowed)portable!
    Have some noise free CB fun ctcss.

    • Yep odd times Mr P. It’s not mentioned in the manual, it’s not mentioned in the importer notes BUT it’s there as is Split, RX CTCSS, TX CTCSS etc etc
      Uses a Baofeng cable to program just it’s bloody hard to find software online 😳

  2. On the President Washington note , had mine a week now and using the stock.mic as well as BT One hands free mic .Audio reports on stock mic are excellent and and little less punchy but good audio fron the BT One.
    Had a good few Qso’s into France on 11m, locals on Fm report good audio on UK fm .
    As well as Qso’s with Argentina and Chile on 10m .So far so so good .Double fan kit kitted from supplier
