*VIDEO* Jimmy III Review & Calibration Menu & rU & Look Inside (NLK Media)

Thanks to Rob RP Comms first of all for the information about this video and also thanks to Garrie (how was spelt on the mail) who’s asked me about it and what would I comment about it?

Hidden rU mode which normally means rUssia and means expanded but in this case I think maybe it’s a partial test way? I’ve asked dealers far and wide previously and they told me with heavy hearts there is no t5 and t0 nor is there high power mode nor is there export mode. I’ve seen the same way to enter rU on another radio so maybe it’s partially DNA from something else.

And to be fair and open there isn’t even a roger bleep which to be fair shocked me as it’s an identity. However value for money is good, build, sound, working with Bluetooth dongle is excellent also. Truth, I’m old and am set in my ways if it would have made even 4 and 8 watts, 120 and t5/t0 it would have sat in the car as does all I need just add a 203 and yeet yeet away we go…

Great video and thanks boys for sending me the details.

Service Manual – Not Seen One

Expansion, rU mode working etc etc – Not Found It

High Power Mode – Not Found It

Remember President offer a very very good warranty and to loose it would be crazy! And kindly remember all local rules and regulations surrounding the operating of this and any other CB radio. Also good advice is donate a coffee to the content maker as you can see he makes a lot of radio content.

Update: Maybe I have found t5-t0 but need to check it later today BUT i have not found bands and not sure even if t5-t-0 is working.. In meantime I think it wasn’t maybe in the finished product but like another test mode maybe?

Update 4/9/24 The rU setting appears to be another service mode possibly. T5 & T0 work and drop down the frequency however with other key presses you get C0, C1, C2 and of course no idea what they do. It does appear no export mode is in this radio, if you know better of course let us know.

President also normally has U.K. in export mode this isn’t there either so add these things up together it appears to be a secondary test mode or engineer mode.

Leave well alone don’t destroy a nice and very good warranty it’s just not worth the risk. And remember ALL legal rules and regulations where you are located.
