*NEW* CRT Alpha N “Hidden Effects” & The Inside Story Of It..

I’ve been asked a lot over the past few weeks about the newly released CRT Alpha N so guess N stands for new?

Well I’ve a unit here came from France Webshop and so if you are in a country that allows “move the jumper” you’ll find.

5KC Drop

High, Medium and Low Power (15/8/4) FM and (8/4) AM

Repeater Offset

Echo Delay & Volume

FM Deviation! Standard is 2Khz, can select 4Khz

Renaming of Bands etc

But you loose 80 channels German its bands of 40 in export mode

U.K. 40 is in export mode now as seems finally after literally years of talking to factories they adopted it same as 5kc drop. Makes all things much more user friendly.

Service mode yes it’s there but you do not need it. Radio is ok without trying make it splatter.

This is as close to behaviour as a Harrison II.than you can imagine. Why? Board is well made, bleep 6 is GPE bleep. Both AM and FM audio is killer! The strength on a NM532 audio on both modes is dynamite. Keep or sell? Drawer or desk well it’s keep and desk.. If you hear it on air it’s almost the same except the deviation menu which Harrison hasn’t got (yet who know future plans GPE) This radio also close to Radioddity CB-500 plus has battery space too. Works just lovely ☺️
