Break the warranty seal and move the jumper to EXT and assemble the radio again.

Band Selection Multi Norm ETC

Press PTT and Channel – on top of the microphone and turn on the radio. You’ll now notice option RU in the menu and select whatever the band is you need. Press F to confirm and the radio turns off and on.

Power Selection

Press PTT and Channel + and turn on radio all pressed and LO is on the screen Press Volume + and HI comes on the screen. Press F radio turns on and off job done and dusted.

Export Mode T5/T0 and Bands

So with the radio on press F and then either + – on top of the handset and the bands will change. And to get the 0 ending channels press F and then again it’s that easy

Modifications supplied as had some questions. It’s not smart loosing warranties that’s an ass but I’ve lost mine to show you. Always adhere to local rules and regulations in your country, state or region

For the extras you get it’s actually better to keep all the legal norms and do not adjust plus loose warranty etc

In the future modifications will appear in video form on TikTok that’s the most likely new home as this blog will disappear around year end as too expensive to keep and will be downloaded to disk and deleted.
