*NEW SSB* Anytone AT-5000 “10m”

It’s been promised and I’ve kept saying it’s a matter of time! And now maybe you will see it as Anytone, A******* or another.

Congratulations to those who trusted my word there are developments in this project and now wait a little longer and sure in one guise or another you will see this radio coming along

Now confirmed via a few dealers there is indeed an EU customer it will come too

  1. Oh 100% I am in there to purchase one .As you know Simon, I am a big fan of the CRT 2000H and advocate it’s use both on 11m and 10m .Also as you know I been following the Aqurio RP70 with interest.
The later you stated a few months back that there was a hold up in manufacturing. This new small all mode set must have been the news you gave us a snippet a few months back .So hold the front page ……I am in .Looking for UK distribution and retail time span and price .
Keep up the good work as always.
    Many thanks Scott

    • It’s a matter of wait at the moment. The Albrecht we know will cost €189 and is expected in December but maybe that could be optimistic? The usual suspects will be selling them so maybe Dougie and Justin for example. BUT at the moment we need wait and see if it comes on the timeline noted. RP70 appears dead in the water at the moment. The Albrecht has a stock code, a price and an estimated delivery. So it’s still wait at the moment

  2. Wow, interesting, maybe based on Aquario RP70 architecture? Who knows but aniway, I am curious how this small radios will behave in ssb reception as from the internal pictures that I was able to see on the web from various new small radios, the old big 10.695 generic CB SSB filter was not visible anymore. Maybe they have smaller filters or completely new architecture of th IF stage, we will soon see. Thank you Simon for this news, keep us updated. BR. Radu.

    • The RP70 architecture is from another factory and not Qixiang. Guess we need wait and see but Qixiang are very stable platform for radios as you know. Time will tell and maybe and only maybe a similar looking radio with an EU name comes end of this year. Greetings to family Radu and lovely to read you after such a long time

  3. Wow! SSB is a CRT 2000(H) / Anytone chassis. Can’t wait to try this out Best wishes Rob
