*NEW* Want To See & Read About Albrecht AE-5900 Click And Download *Updated*

Ladies and Gentlemen and Funk Friends we’ve the latest news of the Albrecht AE-5900 which has been blowing up the internet since it was rumored to be on the horizon! Social media in my case exploded and TikTok went crazy and now we have the concrete evidence of this little mobile SSB radio.

Pretty much as was imagined and all inside a small box so to speak! Take our money now! I’m allowed to say I know about the Anytone version of this radio and can say here the transmitted audio and received audio is excellent. I can say also it’s almost like a 6666 Pro reduced into the case of the Apollo II so it’s a lot in a small box. Concerning the AE5900 then will wait and see when the samples arrive at the dealers (unknown at the moment)

My sincere thanks to Albrecht Germany for there kindness for sending me the information sheet for you all to download and take a look at

Markus Neunerfunk has the radio advertised. Connect with his website for up to date news and views

The manual has in my opinion many errors and maybe another one will come before the radio comes. Above it shows EU mode without SSB on a SSB radio and other oddities like TX Bandwidth and CW being available. Download the manual of course just for reference but it’s possible a new one will come as many errors are being found and noticed.

  1. While the 5900 and the Anytone 5000 appear to be very similar in the display and footprint.
I think I’m leaning more towards the RP70. It appears to be more of a micro radio than the ones mentioned above.
Only time will tell. I’m finding it hard to believe the RP70 is truly a Brazilian made radio.
I’d imagine it made in China like most others are. I’m also surprised there hasn’t been another OEM version of it yet.
The price will scare away most if it is really going to be in the 500-600 dollar range.

    • All roads lead to China and TYT according to dealers in the know. There are OEM versions, Maxlog are advertising there SDR version of the same radio with a slightly different front. Hard to see in Europe at the moment as it’s not got (apparently) CE, ROHS etc etc

  2. Features wise fab 👍
    TSQ single and splits tones!
    Repeater function !
    NRC !
Now interesting fact RJ45 mic connector carries rx audio out for interfacing !
    Fab
Albrecht please add in firmware TXD pin RJ45 selectable
    TXD or
Busy Out ttl 5V on pin for busy detection VoIP ,parrot,repeater/packet/data busy detection uses 👍

Optional DTMF microphone would be nice addition for controlling purposes on repeaters/VoIP gateways.
Wish more mfrs would offer this optional extra, hint hint.

Rest 100% cool what I’ve seen so far ,it’s got everything you’ll ever need.

PC optional software/lead would be a extra nice feature for setting up radio easier or if doing more advanced things with it including firmware updating, hint hint.

Think this one’s going to be another Winner for 2026.
Look forward getting my hands on one.

That’s two radios on my “want to test list”

Best of Luck Albrecht glad to see pushing it.
