What was an incredibly popular radio has now returned in the form of the Richard II. Now it comes loaded with NRC which is a key selling point. An interesting point is the “accessory volume” for an available soon item. What’s that all about? Any ideas ping me and let me know. So the first new radio of 2026 appears to be from President.
Things that I like personally is this version has the power limit menu of 4, 10 and full power which is 13w AM peaking 50w AM and 40 watts FM. Even nicer is to see the analogue signal meter. Well done to GPE for keeping the dream alive.
This was a very good radio, had killer audio and now seems the magicians of Balaruc have added some newer ideas and brought back an old friend dressed the same way but smarter and with things 2026 needs.
Guess it will be USA 🇺🇸 And Europe according to the manual.

I see a light around the mic socket,and new USB C,I currently use the Richard hard to say anything bad about it really

Yes indeed light comes on when squelch opens and changes colour when TX. USB-C for charging and guess updates?
