This is what makes the hobby the best in the world. Thank you SO much Ralf whose very very kindly sent us the inside story of his Luiton LT-310SDR which has recently arrived. And also the very same thank you to Gerd who’s sent some photos too. And yes it truly looks like the Aquario from the outside and the inside

Gentlemen I thank you so so much. You’re sure some of the earliest adopters of the radio. Mine is still on the way from the customs to DPD for delivery. Again thank you so much.

I received my LT-310sdr last week and it is the same as the photo. It has the long wire jumper and cut traces.
It is different from the Aquario in several ways. Different components on the board, different firmware, different menu options.
Overall, not a bad radio for the size and price, but wondering if Luiton will change the design to avoid the hardware modification that exists in these early releases?
Thank you so much for your kindness to write. May I ask how do you find the receive and modulation etc
Regarding receive, I find it comparable to many new CB/10m radios. No issues to report when compared against my Anytone AT-5000 or President George II.
I find the AI noise reduction to be very impressive. Much better than the digital noise reduction (NRC) that the radio also has, which produces that “watery” sound. I think you will find the AI NR reduces the band noise, leaving the RX audio sounding natural.
Transmit audio is not as impressive as the receive side, but it is readable. The radio does not have as much modulation as other radios, but it is acceptable for such a small radio.
Interesting that cut trace and long jumper wire going across the main board, what is up with that?
Agree 100% and apparently each one has it the same
