Guess I’m probably the last person to have got the Amazon parts to make up a data cable to use the tuning software only to lower the volume as it was set to wake the dead! Mine was set at 40 with the lowest volume where as the newer versions were set between 6 and 10 and more palatable to the ears

Yes had to do some soldering but the hardest is waiting for the Amazon bits to arrive. But they come in the end and was a 20-30 second job to do it. And for me have 3 versions of the LT310SDR. One with a new electret, one with the revisions to the firmware settings and one with as it comes settings nothing messed and or changed

Bits from Amazon around €25 delivered and the price to the ears is priceless now volume is manageable

I’d like to thank Mr Psychopath for his help with the file and for the advice on how he’s made his radio working well. Another reason as before that this hobby is the best in the world. I’ve a Radtel on order and comes with a genuine data cable apparently and so we see what happens when that comes and indeed what revision of the board it is too
