The CB-5000 doesn’t have all EU norms inside

Of course as it’s not for the EU market. The radio is for USA and so it comes with band US and not the multi-norms as Albrecht is the licensed I guess exclusive for Europe

The CB-5000 doesn’t come with Bluetooth like the photo shows

Yes true, it’s a generic picture / mock up used badly and stupidly. Read the description and it’s not mentioned. So yes looks like it comes but it does not come. Guess it’s on the chip possibly and hasn’t been activated?

Radioddity Software has “runtime errors”

It’s caused by trying to program something outside of parameters and that’s why it comes. Issue with the .dat file

How do I get DE band

Best is to select HF mode and use it this way. The banding would work 26515-26955 where you need 26565-26955 so can adjust the file in software. Only use power Lo setting and only FM. It’s not perfect but best you can do when the radio isn’t for European sale.

Best would be Albrecht release the CPS but it appears they won’t let customers have it as deem us too stupid it would appear. It is out and about the software as have different screenshots now from multiple people in multiple countries so it’s not “that secret”
