*NEW* Luiton LT-8001 PRO / Luiton LT-890 SSB Arrives With The 390 Wagon Master

Here we go again with the 390 Wagon Master and this time he’s having a look at the Luiton LT-8001 Pro. I’m considering myself in purchasing one of these but at the moment I’m in the middle of a radio getting rid off session so we will wait and see. FedEx boxes of radios have departed and still more to come

I’m going to ask the Wagon Master for some internal photographs and we hopefully could feature them as a future inside story

Read his story well, I have as you know the 890 SSB here but my words have been delayed due to illness but hope it will come next week and I HAVE a lot to say!

And also check the videos of M0OGY as seems very different how his excited manner is. And for my initial comment

  1. Cheers, I will check that. Certainly not good if it TX on SSB on the UKFM channels. I guess Bond need to try a little harder on development then.

  2. Good Afternoon Simon, I see I got a mention regarding this radio. I have not tried it on the Air due to showing some more vintage radios this week. I can only comment on it properly once I have actually used it “On-Air”. In all honesty I’m not expecting a product as good as many I show, but who knows, If it is poor and sounds bad I will say and the video never lies. Dave M0OGY,England.

    • I was sent the news from Paul so added it. Will be dead interesting to see how it works. If have time or energy please check CB band UK as the one here transmits on AM and SSB in UK40 setting which was an error from 12 months ago which has on subsequent radios been fixed.. Have a great weekend and interesting to see or hear how it’s working soon on the channel
