After a successful mugging of the FedEx courier it’s here and it’s as predicted and as expected. The PNI Escort HP-9600 has been on the radar a long time and last week it was released and it’s pretty good! For me it’s got the sort of Uniden style rounded numbers, it’s got a sort of President logic which makes it easy to understand and operate. Talk volume is good, strong and defined and comes with NRC, CTCSS, Record, NRC, 12/24v, 7 colour display, Roger Bleep, Small Format radio and lots more.

The colours on the radio pop and look excellent and add it to the background darkness it looks excellent and even the radio is small the display is bigger and so the numbers, the vertical signal meter and the operational NB, ANL etc really pop!

When you watch the video you will see the logic of what I mean and how it is a second nature way to use it as it really is something you know but wearing a different coat. Monitoring around now to make some contacts and see how this one rocks the airways.
