Oldie but Goldie this time. Purchased 26.03.2021 from Konektor5000 Poland 🇵🇱 this is an all singing and all dancing President McKinley. I was hunting for something in my radio dungeon and came across three of these radios. Two normal with receipts and in multi-norm (just used for tests) and then this one which is rather a special one!
And what makes this one special?
Which Means:
Service description:
- Unlocking for EXPORT mode (24.710–30.100 MHz)
- Increasing modulation depth
- Improving modulation tone (adding treble/high frequencies)
- Enhancing modulation depth
- Replacing the 2nd IF filter with a Murata 455HT
- Replacing the 1st IF filter with a 10.695 KNKTR
- Increasing output power: AM 10W (25W PEP), FM 30W, SSB 30W
- Installing a DSP module (activated via an additional button on the microphone)
- Testing reception and transmission
Yep it’s got a DSP Module in the standard President microphone amongst other things..
Didn’t find what I was looking for really but found three Mc Kinleys in boxes and in standard EU format and with warranty stickers.
