If President had wanted it to make 40w it would come with 40w. Leave it alone. Bad enough you loose all warranty claims when you export modify it.
I was a pirate even before left school but these days seems am becoming more domesticated as do not see the reason to export mode EVERYTHING. There is times for it, and times not for it.

Got my Lincoln II on Thursday. Great radio compared to my Intek HR-5500
Knights have shipped a load out here in the UK today so we should get our hands on them tomorrow!!!!
