The past two days for radio showed me how and why was fun in 1978 when the adventure started for me. Rag chew about anything or nothing across the miles.  Speak with old friends and new ones. Smokey and the Bandit to Convoy was like sat in bed with an AR7 and DV27 on a biscuit tin in the loft listening to the Super Bowl.

Technical or hobby user, audio crazy or listening to 27:025 AM it’s super to be out there calling.

Two great days on air from 107/P in Beskydy Mountains Czech Republic

  1. just been looking at the specs for the Texas 1800 power and its a very good antenna but it was working well for you and available at Nevada

    • It’s the third time I’ve used it. So far made Australia, USA, Canada, Brazil, Spain, Poland, UK, Finland, Barbuda amongst others. Not more than 30w from radio. Didn’t know Nevada had it. Me, am delighted with mine. It’s earned its wings (“,)

    • Hi Stephen. The whip is around 6ft with a split in the middle. Full height I guess is just a snippet over 6ft and SWR fine 240 channels 😉
