Klaus the “HF-Doktor” has released his look at the Grant II and what some of the adjustments are. As we know many believe always that radios are released not how individuals want them and they want something else. Remember all warranty is away when you touch and mess up something. Be advised!

 

So above are the adjustments. They are not strong, they are not to be twisted around violently and best to see an engineer or to be very careful if you want to play around with all these adjustments

You loose all warranty and of course the radio then becomes non CE approved also so opens you for prosecution under relevant laws. Components are stressed under new values so will provide less lifetime than normal, audio will become distorted under the excess power levels. SO as a guideline I tell you to think about any or all modifications, as they can have serious end user issues in the end. IF designed for 50w it would come with it, same as all radios. Adjustment areas are small, damage them it is also game over. No warranty, no service, no help to repair from dealer. All gone.
